GRAVEYARDS of CHICAGO St. Johannes & Rest Haven

This group of seven horizontal cylinders sharing a common base commemorates the Kolze family - Fritz, Caroline, and their children, who died between 1901 and 1921. This particular type of monument is especially popular among German Protestants, and many more can be found in cemeteries such as Bethania and Concordia.
